DIY DAY - Upcycling old fabrics

If you love fabric and want to get in touch with your creative side, here is a few quick & complicated things to make! Depending if you are up for a challenge or not!

I believe somewhere every lady has unused fabric - it can be left over fabric parts(sewing), old cloting piece you are not wearing or stained a one, maybe a table cloth, curtains or old unused cusions.  And if you don't have it t's what friends are for, or buy second hand clothing or fabric! If you approach one of this ideas yourself you will be complimented or liked by others! Future thought - maybe start your own small business! Great ideas for gifts!

Bow Peep Accessories - love at first sight

The first time I laid eyes on Bow Peep was at the Toffie Pop Conference 2012.  Hand made vintage accessories with such a feminine and soft appearance, stole my heart the first day of the conference already! I love floral material and of course had to purchase a floral ring!

Leila Badsha started Bow Peep about a year ago because she have always loved making accessories and  decided to turn her hobby into a full time job. She also loves fabric and decided that she would use fabric as the basis for most of her products. Her products are all hand made but still affordable. She gets her inspiration from the different fabrics she use, when ever she get new fabrics it always inspires her to come up with new products.  It is important for Leila to always try and keep coming up with new things, it keeps her inspired and it ensures that her brand keeps evolving.

Bow Peep accessories can be bought at the City Bowl Fashion Market (which is usually at the end of the month but check her facebook page for the dates). You can buy products from her online store or from the various shops which stock her products.
