Such an inspirational place! The concept behind Makojalo is full of character when it gets to the name, guest house origin and DIY decor. The name is a combination of the Delport family members' names: Ma (Marie) ko (Kobus) ja (Jan-Hendrik) and lo (Louise). The guest house is old horse stables converted into luxurious on-suit rooms. Each room is named after the horse that stayed in that specific stable. In every room there is at least one DIY tip that is inspirational. Exclusive events like weddings, birthdays, pick-nicks and other functions can be held at Makojalo.
